The hotel is very close to the old center of Quito, so perfect for sight- seeing. It is a charming hotel, beautifully decorated, and the staff was helpful. We were greeted with a welcome drink of a local beverage, which, although sticky-sweet, was a nice gesture. We did not dine in the restaurant.
Our room faced the interior courtyard and had glass-paned double-doors. This meant that we could hear people sitting out in the patio or walking to their rooms. It did get quite around 11pm, so it was not horrible, but, if you have an early flight out of Quito the next day, it's something to keep in mind.

The front desk and restaurant staff went out of their way to accommodate us. I needed to buy tickets to a concert that was being held in a few hours, and the front desk agent phoned to find out if tickets were available and then sent one of the front door men to buy the tickets. In the restaurant, the servers were exceptionally nice and friendly, made recommendations from the menu, and gave us excellent service.
Checking out took at least 20 minutes. We had only stayed for one night, and had only eaten dinner and breakfast at the hotel, so it should not have taken so long. Also, I had booked the duplex suite, but it was not available and I was charged the same rate for a regular hotel room.

The Spanish architecture and location in Centro Historico were superb.
The garden area and bar were understaffed, and the street band made it a bit difficult to sleep.

Had a really nice stay overall, the room I stayed in was quiet and perfect with modern bathrooms, the best view 401 and a couch. The pool was excellent and I had hot drinks in the downstairs bar. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating all the time.

During my recent stay at Hotel Patio Andaluz, I was pleasantly surprised by the charming atmosphere and excellent service. The hotel's architecture and tasteful patios are truly a sight to behold. The location in the historic district was perfect for exploring the city. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, always helpful and super polite. I especially appreciated the free coffee and tea available throughout the day. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast and meals served at the hotel were delicious, and the dining room had a great ambiance. Even though there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the low water pressure in the bathroom and the lack of windows in some rooms, overall, I would definitely recommend Hotel Patio Andaluz for an enjoyable stay in Quito.

Great Location !
Expensive hotel ! Most of the rooms are looking at the inner patio so they have no views of the city.

We were amazed by the beautiful architecture and design of the hotel. The internal courtyards, spiral staircases, and teak woodwork created a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had huge beds. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious food at the restaurant. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of options, including fresh fruit, pastries, and cooked breakfast made to order. We also had a wonderful dinner there, with a menu full of Ecuadorian specialties. The location of the hotel was perfect. It was centrally located in the historical area of the city, within walking distance of sights and great restaurants. Despite a few minor inconveniences such as the lack of windows in the room and some noise from the restaurant and other guests, we had a fantastic experience at Patio Andaluz. We would highly recommend it to others visiting Quito.
